Degree Programs: EPIVAC

EPIVAC® is a one-year training degree program in applied vaccinology and management of immunization systems that is mainly targeted at district medical officers. It leads to two masters:

  • MIVA: International Masters 2 in Applied Vaccinology
  • Master 241: Masters 2 in Economics and Management of Public Health in Developing Countries

The aim is to improve immunization systems, particularly at district level, by strengthening participants’ technical and managerial skills.

French-speaking sub-Saharan African countries are the priority targets of these masters.

University Partnerships and Recognition

Launched in 2002, the program was restructured in 2013. This led to a new university partnership and the updating of content and teaching methods.

MIVA, launched in 2014, is delivered by the universities of Félix Houphouët-Boigny (Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire), Abomey-Calavi (Benin), Lomé (Togo), and Polytechnic University of Bobo-Dioulasso (Burkina Faso). The Master 241 is delivered by Paris-Dauphine University (France).
