Registration Now Open for EPIVAC Masters in Vaccinology and Management

The Agence de Médecine Préventive (AMP), Félix Houphouët-Boigny University (UFHB), University of Abomey-Calavi (Benin), University of Lomé (Togo), Polytechnic University of Bobo-Dioulasso (Burkina Faso), and Paris Dauphine University (France) have opened registration for the new International Master 2 in Applied Vaccinology (MIVA) and the Master 2 in Economics and Management of Public Health in Developing Countries (Master 241).

Bilan des actions menées par le réseau EpiVac.net grâce au Fonds de Solidarité Prioritaire du ministère des Affaires étrangères (MAE)

A partir de juillet 2011, le ministère des Affaires étrangères (MAE) a doté le réseau EpiVac.net d’un Fonds de Solidarité Prioritaire afin de développer le réseau en Afrique et au Vietnam. Ce financement a entre autres permis à EpiVac.net de mettre à disposition des modules de formation en plaidoyer en faveur des vaccinations, en supervision formative et en viabilité financière et de réaliser 16 études de terrain sur des problématiques de vaccination.

Video on the 4th EpiVac.net Technical Conference

EpiVac.net organized its fourth Technical Conference in Abidjan and Grand-Bassam, Côte d'Ivoire from September 18 to 20, 2013 on the theme: “EpiVac.net African Vaccinology Network: Results and Future Direction.” The objective of the conference was to identify, after six years of existence, the means to optimize the EpiVac.net network so that it can further contribute to health and immunization system strengthening in participating GAVI-eligible countries from West and Central Francophone Africa, in view of improving their immunization program performance.

Signature of the Interuniversity Agreement for MIVA

AMP has signed with the University Félix Houphouët-Boigny (Côte d'Ivoire), University of Abomey-Calavi (Benin), University of Lomé (Togo), Polytechnic University of Bobo-Dioulasso (Burkina Faso), and University Paris-Dauphine (France), an interuniversity agreement for the creation of the International Masters in Applied Vaccinology (MIVA). AMP is in charge of practical training and internships. This diploma is one of two issued through the training component of the EpiVacPlus program.

Defense of Operational Research Theses: 11th EpiVacPlus Class

In collaboration with the Regional Institute of Public Health (IRSP) in Ouidah, Benin, universities Félix Houphouët-Boigny and Paris-Dauphine, the EpiVacPlus program organized the 11th session for the defense of operational research theses from November 25 to 26, 2013.

Around 30 students defended their research at IRSP in front of an international jury to obtain a Master 2 degree in “Economics and Management of Public Health in Developing Countries,” issued by Paris-Dauphine University.

Headquartered in Abidjan, its chief executive is AMP, represented by Dr. Aristide Aplogan, director of the EpiVacPlus program.
