Translational Research

In the context of the EPIVAC masters programs (i.e., MIVA, Master 241), participants conduct translational research on immunization issues and other public health priorities in the districts for which they are responsible.

These studies, which are carried out with the support of program supervisors and trainers, are the part of operational research theses that students present to an international jury.

Monographs based on supervision data are also developed. They draw on the supportive supervisions visits in districts (meta analysis) on topics such as: service delivery, logistics, supply and quality of vaccines, advocacy and communication, management, sustainable funding, and capacity building of human resources and institutions.
